The average guy initially liked Bush because they sensed he was a moron, and it was easy to feel superior to him. The problem was the average guy was right about Bush being a moron (which, incidentally, is a clinical term, not just a pejorative). But only an imbecile (another clinical term, referring to a person even less intelligent than a moron) would trust a moron to control the fate of a country. Now they all look like idiots (which is your classification if you don’t quite make the grade as an imbecile).”
