Wow, I'm exhausted. Today I spent about 11 hours working in the new house, on top of a solid 8 yesterday. But, the kitchen is coming along very well - there are only a few remaining items, including the floor and the backsplash. Lighting, cabinets, countertops, sink, appliances, etc. are all done. Whew! See the gleaming countertop above for a quick idea.

Today most of my effort was focused on building the new bathroom wall. Now, instead of the door hitting my knees if I sit on the toilet, the room is a normal 1/2 bath. I still need to install the sink (already assembled though) and finish the walls (they are craggly), but the new wall is built and the door is hung, so the structure is complete. Very satisfying!

OK, well I have to admit I just haven't seen much stuff worth linking lately. I think everyone has heard the many variations of the Dean yowl, and unlike my last post (a couple weeks ago! shame!), there hasn't been any writing that struck me as link-worthy. BUT! There are LOTS of family things that are worth checking out if you have the in-click-ation (ungh!).

I post a link for Recent Photos, but I don't think many people follow it. But, you should, because my lovely wife updates the content there quite often, sometimes multiple times per week. And despite the link name, it is not only photos - there is also video! So even while I am not posting here much, there is still much to see if you are an Artemis adorer (and why wouldn't you be?).

I recently purchased the new iLife from Apple, and over all it is wicked cool. I really like this new program GarageBand, which allows one to create music despite a complete lack of talent. Don't believe me? I have proof!
