What I Think I Know by Damien Del Russo
Wow, these updates are getting more infrequent, aren't they? Oh, I'm sure I have your sympathy - having a newborn child must really take up my time. And I must be working so hard. Right? Nah - actually, it is a combination of NFL game watching and fantasy football research that's keeping me away from my daily updates. Oh well! Two great things about having your own page - you can be perfectly honest, and you can skip a day or three at your leisure. But! Judging by recent trends, my attention to the NFL and fantasy football will dwindle as the season progresses. Also, as the autumn kicks into high gear, there should be plenty of good stuff to write about. It's true - one of the reasons I've been writing less is that I don't have much to report on - even the links seem to be running a little dry.
One more thing - don't miss the Archive - it is "guided", so you can quickly decide what you'd like to read about. Also, many of the topics from the first few months are timeless and thus could be worth your attention.
I also updated the current song - now we have Al Green's classic Ain't No Sunshine.
Ultra Link Day! Here's a really funky Mac mod - a modification of the G5. These guys are quick! TechCentralStation had a good article on the "UN Party". What's that Euro doing to that Dollar? Joel on Software makes me want to work in New York. I've bashed and linked to bashes of Michael Moore in the past - here's a recent defense of his. I love these Affirmative Action Bake Sales. As upset as people get, there just isn't a good, non-hypocritical argument against them (that I've seen). Ah yes, the World Beard Championships. Classic. And there's a hilarious activity, "dogging", going on in the UK. "No sex, thank you - we're British" indeed.
