OK, sorry for the infrequent updates...just going 'round the clock with short amounts of sleep and other typical new parent stuff. I'll post anything important!
Moxie links to an interesting (adult!) site, Rate My Rack. Pretty funny, a bunch of headless torsos (boobs), each rated on a 1-10 scale. Some are quite good, others are...not.
There's a new site, BuyMusic.com, where PC users can purchase and download music. I checked it out, and it looks OK, although it is certainly more complicated than the Apple Music Store. For example, different tracks have different prices and different distribution rules, such as how many times it can be burned to a CD or transferred to an MP3 player. Nonetheless, it is nice for PCs to have an alternative. It remains to be seen if it is viable. Watching the competition between BuyMusic and Apple (when they release their PC version of AMS) should be fun.
Those MIT folks are always coming up with nifty devices. I don't understand this AudioPad myself, but it sure looks cool.
First day back at work today...strange night, woke up at around 3 am and couldn't get more than a short nap between then and 5:45, when I left for work. Early shift is kind of interesting - there is no traffic, and the office is quiet.
The strange sleep hours have definitely had an effect on my creativity. As in, I don't have any. So, I'll bail today, and hopefully I'll have something original to say soon. In any case I'll have an update on a little gardening project I did Tuesday night, including before and after photos. Until then, thanks for visiting and wish me good rest.
