Link Day! (and a new song!)

Shopkeeper gets robbed, then chases the criminals in his Hummer and runs over their car. Classic.

Don Watson (via Instapundit) speculates that liberals don't support the cause of democracy and freedom in Iran because...conservatives got their first. Is it just me, or has the left become pretty much the opposite that it was in the 1960's? I wasn't around then, so I can't say for sure...but they sure have an affinity for evil dictators and repressive regimes these days.

This guy is incredible..."the man on the street".

Brian links to a fascinating account of the development of the Segway, including the penetrating insight of Steve Jobs: "things that'll make you shit your pants" LOL.

The Editing Room has a hilarious synopsis of The Matrix: Reloaded, as well as a bunch of other funny movie script parodies.

Andrew Sullivan points out that even the Europeans are getting wise to Michael Moore's difficulty with the truth.

Don't miss PostIt Art!

Matt Drudge demonstrates, via John Kerry, the problem with trying to have it both ways: People notice. Welcome to the information age...we can actually document what you said 6 years ago! (duh)

Finally, Salon wonders aloud why Americans aren't catching on that BUSH LIED to get us to war. While I have no illusions of a well-informed electorate, I think Democrats/leftists are overly optimistic if they think they'll gain political traction by essentially protesting a war that was not only militarily successful, but also very much good for Iraq. Saddam's regime was shown to be even more evil that we suspected, and we did a great service to Iraq and the world by removing it. There are serious questions that need to be answered regarding intelligence errors and such, but those are matters for Washington - don't look to the American public for political support. Another reason there won't be political traction is that these same folks trying to drum up popular discontent were quite recently wrong on the war, and may have some small credibility problems for a while.

Have a great weekend!
